Imagine Library, one of S&I’s most well-known social contribution programs, provides educational opportunities to children and youth from socially vulnerable groups in various regions nationwide by donating books and providing a pleasant reading environment.
Since 2014, as part of LG’s efforts to promote educational opportunities for children and youth under its “Social Contribution the LG Way” program, S&I has donated books and supported the improvement of educational environments to resolve cultural isolation of children from multicultural or low-income families. We also hold writing and painting competitions to promote creativity among children.
S&I undertakes various programs to support multicultural families to contribute to the growth of youth into future leaders and to build a healthy society.
S&I carries out locally oriented social contribution activities through its Share Love Volunteer Corps organized in six regions nationwide (Seoul, Konjiam, Chungcheong, Honam, Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam), providing substantial assistance to socially vulnerable groups in local communities.
We carry out various volunteer activities such as children’s camp to Hwadam botanic garden, mentoring in local children’s centers and donation of daily necessities, in association with social welfare organizations in major cities where our business sites are located.
