    LG Code of Ethics

  • Jeong-Do Management Programs

    S&I has developed and implements the following programs in order to be total space solution provider
    for successful operation and growth of businesses for its customers based on Jeong-Do Management and trust.

    • 01 Jeong-Do Management Operation System
      • S&I has an organization dedicated to Jeong-Do Management directly under the CEO in order to implement its Jeong-Do Management activities in a systematic manner.
      • We carry out the same Jeong-Do management activities in both our domestic and overseas business sites.
    • 02 Jeong-Do Management Website
      • We operate an intranet that contains detailed information on the LG Code of Ethics, specific principles of conduct and Q & A relating thereto.
      • Through the intranet, we prevent potential violations that may occur due to the inability of our employees to fully understand the LG Code of Ethics, and resolve any questions regarding Jeong-Do Management.
    • 03 Education and Training for Jeong-Do Management
      • We provide education and training for each job category such as purchasing, sales and management, as well as for newly hired/career employees and senior staff.
      • We regularly conduct online training for all employees to ensure that they complete Jeong-Do Management training.
      • We also undertake prevention activities such as PR activities for Jeong-Do Management and share information on violation cases.
    • 04 Jeong-Do Management Pledge to Practice
      • Each year, our employees take the “Jeong-Do Management Pledge to Practice“ online, promising their compliance with the LG Code of Ethics and practice of Jeong-Do Management. Our partner companies also participate in taking the Pledge.
    • 05 Reporting Acceptance of Money and Other Valuables
      • All S&I employees are strictly prohibited from receiving money, other valuables and entertainment of all kinds from stakeholders under all circumstances. In particular, we prohibit the receiving of congratulatory/condolatory gifts and other kinds of personal gifts.
      • In the case where our employees have received money or gifts including for congratulatory/condolatory events, they are required to return it following a specific reporting process or donate it to social welfare organizations when it cannot be returned.
    • 06 Reporting Center
      • We operate a Reporting Center for receiving reports on violations of Jeong-Do management or corruption by our employees.
      • Reports may be made online, via mail or phone by our employees as well as other stakeholders.
      • Through the Reporting Center, we make improvements to corrupt practices of our employees as well as unreasonable systems and work processes.
  • Cyber SINMUNGO, Accepting Valuable Reports for Realizing Justice

    Cyber SINMUNGO accepts reports of unfair demands and unlawful use of the position of S&I
    employees for corrupt and illegal conduct.

    • Lack of transparency in selecting partner companies
    • Illegal or unlawful use of company assets or manipulation/dishonest reporting of documents or figures

    Please note that allegations not grounded on facts or matters relating to personal privacy are not handled.

    Protection of Reporters
    • S&I Corporation operates an intranet that contains detailed information on the LG Code of Ethics and specific principles of conduct and Q & A relating thereto.
    • Through the intranet, we prevent potential violations that may occur due to the inability of our employees
      to fully understand the LG Code of Ethics, and resolve any questions regarding Jeong-Do Management.
